From Arizona to Nashville Pop Duo 76th Street Is Hard To Ignore
The quote is “family and business don’t mix”, but what about friends and music? Familiarity sometimes creates make or break situations when trying for success with our loved ones involved. Best friends Spencer Bryant and Haley Gold don’t really have this problem, and have been making it work over ten years from Arizona to Nashville as the powerful pop/rock act 76th Street.
76th Street is an indie band formed by classmates who grew up on the same street in Arizona. Keyboard player Haley Gold met guitarist Spencer Bryant in their fifth grade lunchroom and the two have been inseparable ever since. Bonding over a mutual love for playing, singing, and songwriting, the two quickly developed into a duo and became popular around town. Their first single “You and I” was released in 2014 to much acclaim, and the duo soon began traveling and performing throughout their local region. After being a hit in Arizona in high school and college, 76th Street decided to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee, the home and hub of American folk music. There they found swift success, selling out their first headlining show and networking through the music scene. Their latest singles, “Don’t Wait Up For Me” and “Growing Season” are both small glimpses into the flood of releases soon to come from 76th Street this year.
